Writer's Start

Write a novel, 50,000 words, in 30 days? A blog re it? Well ... so here goes. Or, I think the rule is to start on Nov 1. Time to puzzle over what to write about. I've used the work "novel" in multiple senses, both the writer's story, and the sense of being new and unusual. I seem to do that by nature, so surely I can do it this time too.

I have not yet written a full novel.
